I’ll admit that I didn’t read American Gods until last year. Whenever I looked for book recommendations, Neil Gaiman’s name would pop up. But for some reason I never read his work. I’m not sure why. On a chance I read one of his essays online. It’s easy to sum up as captivating. So I went ahead and bought the novel.
We haven’t had a new Doctor Who episode since the Christmas Special, which saw the exit of Matt Smith’s Doctor and the entrance of Peter Capaldi in the role. And it was such a memorable entrance – unless you’re someone who is upset that the Doctor isn’t a young man anymore. Then again, it’s still memorable to you.
Last week it was announced that Power Rangers will reboot on the big screen. It wasn’t much a surprise since it’s the 20th anniversary of the show. (Power Rangers is also in its special anniversary season.)

A lot of us know by now that season 4 of Game of Thrones is coming up on HBO. To get fans ready, a third trailer was released, revealing just a little more of what’s in store.
The CW is working hard on bringing Supernatural: Tribes to fruition. It was just this week a few actors were announced. And now – well, a couple more are announced. Joining the cast are Danielle Savre and Stephen Martines.
The spinoff for Supernatural continues to pick up steam. The Vampire Diaries actor, Sean Faris, joins Supernatural: Tribes as werewolf Julian Durant.
The CW’s Supernatural is a go for a 10th season, and it has an upcoming spinoff show. Entitled Supernatural: Tribes, it follows two mafia-like families in Chicago. The catch is, they are monsters. Unfortunately for them, there’s a hunter in town.
