Fox’s series House, starring Hugh Laurie, is renewed for an eighth season. The surprising part? Lisa Edelstein, who portrays Dr. Cuddy; House’s boss, ex-girlfriend and essentially an antagonist (though our “hero” House is more like the antagonist) will not return for the new season.

Glee star Chris Colfer has been a busy man. He’s penned a pilot for the Disney Channel’s The Little Leftover Witch. The premise is on a young witch who crash lands near a family who takes her in. The pilot is based on the children’s book written by Florence Laughlin. -
