For a lot of us fans of Breaking Bad, we’re in the midst of a barely tolerable hiatus until the second half of season five resumes this summer on AMC. Luckily for us, Aaron Paul, who portrays Jesse Pinkman, had a brilliant spoiler to hold us over until then.

Chevy Chase Leaves Community
The highly enjoyable series Community has lost one of its cast members. Comedic actor Chevy Chase made a mutual agreement to part ways with the show. It came as no surprise really, since Chase had ongoing problems with the producers and the direction of his character. Luckily for the sake of the show, Chase will make one last appearance in the season finale. -
Boy Meets World Gets Spinoff
Anyone who remembers the TGIF block of family shows in the evenings remembers Boy Meets World — or on television in general since it’s syndicated. But you get my point. Disney has a spinoff in the works. -
Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome Goes Online

Luckily Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome isn’t abandoned as first hinted. Rather than being your usual television show, the prequel to Battlestar will be released as a web series on Machinima. The episodes are broken up into 7-12 installments for the format change.

In 2005, Peter Jackson and director Neill Blomkamp were set to film an adaptation of the immensely popular game Halo. It ultimately didn’t come to fruition and the rights reverted back to Microsoft. The possibility of a movie was not forgotten though.

Agent Coulson Leads in S.H.I.E.L.D.
Marvel and Joss Whedon apparently threw a swerve with Agent Phil Coulson’s outcome in The Avengers. Today at the New York Comic-Con, Whedon and Marvel’s Kevin Feige revealed to fans that Coulson is making a return as the lead in ABC’s S.H.I.E.L.D. -

Spearheaded by The Avengers writer and director Joss Whedon comes S.H.I.E.L.D., an ABC television show. By “show” I mean “pilot” but it’s almost a given that it’ll be green-lit as a series. After all, Whedon has proven successful, and this time it isn’t on Fox.
