Marvel Studios Bringing in “Phase 3”

marvel_logoMarvel’s “Phase 2” is well underway, with Iron Man 3 leading the charge, and Guardians of the Galaxy as the newcomers on the big screen. Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige, said they’re already planning out “Phase 3”, which will bring more comic book characters on the big screen.

Promo Art for Iron Man 3

ironman3artMarvel is gearing up for another marketing push for Iron Man 3, starring the one and only Robert Stark Jr. — I mean, Robert Downey Jr. A few promo art pieces are circulating online to drum up excitement. A couple show the new War Machine armor — and no, I don’t mean the Iron Patriot version. In another promo piece, we’re treated to a few armors in the background that look dramatically different than what we’re accustomed to. It’s safe to assume they’re villainous suits.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt Joins Sin City: A Dame to Kill For

josephgordonlevittDirector Robert Rodriguez took Frank Miller’s graphic novel Sin City and made a heavily stylized comic book movie with a memorable cast. It wasn’t farfetched that he and the fans would want a sequel. The only problem was that it took years for the ball to get rolling. Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is currently filming, and the latest actor to join is Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Battle-Worn Tony Stark in Iron Man 3

ironman3stillYou would think that after Tony Stark drove off into the sunset with his new best-friend-forever Bruce Banner in The Avengers, that he’d have a cushy life for at least a year or something or another. Based on the trailer and nearly all the production stills we’ve seen so far, it isn’t the case at all. It looks more like Stark is going through complete hell. It’s a given when he’s an arrogant hero, who made friends with a guy whose bad temper flattens cities. But as Robert Downey Jr. said: Stark had Banner promptly deported.
