Here’s a real picture of the #Batmobile. http://t.co/47beaZqr6f pic.twitter.com/Ez1ILa8JeE

Not too long ago pictures surfaced of the Batmobile in Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The photos revealed that the Batmobile took some inspiration from the Tumbler in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy. Snyder then took the time to tweet a better picture of the Batmobile.
The particular angle looks more like the comic books — namely The Dark Knight Returns. Of course, a little scaled down from that tank of a car. The most glaring comparison is the guns mounted on the front of the Batmobile. Rubber bullets, maybe? Either way, it looks like something Superman would not like to see.
Apparently there was a few complaints about the guns — which is kind of odd. It’s nothing new for the film adaptations of Batman. For example, the Tim Burton Batmobiles had dual machine guns. Nevertheless, if the new Batmobile doesn’t have rubber bullets, it’s probably being used as a way to remove obstacles. It is a huge car. Or mini tank. Whichever.
Now I really hope to see Superman throw the Batmobile into a Lexcorp building. Why not?
