Yes, you read that right. Production began for the first season of Better Call Saul and it’s already a go for a second season. Breaking Bad was a proven success, so it’s pretty much a given that the spinoff will have an audience.
The first season is 10 episodes long, detailing our favorite scummy liar lawyer’s exploits before he meets Walter White. Bob Odenkirk won’t be reprising his role as Saul Goodman – by which I mean, yes, he is returning. He stole the show a few times in Breaking Bad, which is an incredible feat considering the show starred Bryan Cranston. Odenkirk breaking out on his own will be fun to see.
The first season of Better Call Saul airs on AMC early 2015.
The second season calls for the order of 13 episodes, which will air in the beginning of 2016.
Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan will direct the series premiere and will co-showrun with Saul Goodman creator Peter Gould.
