The film adaptation of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is still in theaters, but the third movie (which is being split in two) Mockingjay, is well underway.
Actor Robert Knepper, known for being one of the saving graces for the final season of Heroes, and as Roger Reeves as Billy Grimm on the CW’s Cult, is cast in the film as Antonius.
The name Antonius doesn’t appear in the novels, but there’s speculation that he’s a version of the character Aurelias, a psychologist who treats Katniss. If that’s the case, then Knepper is a great fit. If that isn’t the case, he is still a great fit.
I’ve really liked both movies so far. I’m stoked that Knepper has a part in the third; he has a captivating screen presence.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 is slated for release in theaters November 21, 2014.
I’ve enjoyed The Hunger Games more than Catching Fire. I must say what make’s both movies enjoyable is the cast. I agree Robert Knepper would be a great fit for the next movie, Mockingjay. I just hope the ending is not as predictable as Catching Fire, which by the way I have not read any of the books.
