I have to admit, I’m pessimistic about Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past. The cast seems to grow everyday, which gives the impression that cameos will occur nonstop. Then there’s Wolverine once again being up front and center, as if he’s the only X-Man.

But then there’s viral marketing, like the video above. It does a good job of explaining the intentions of Trask Industries and its sentinels, the huge robots designed to hunt down mutants.

Maybe Singer will surprise us and bring back Cyclops; his death was one of the worst offenses in X-Men: The Last Stand.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is slated for theaters May 23, 2014.
