Director Bryan Singer has brought a lot of familiar faces back for X-Men: Days of Future Past, and it of course does not end there. A lot of people weren’t keen on the redesign of Beast in First Class; the cat-like appearance more or less looked ridiculous. In Days of Future Past, Hank McCoy looks more like the traditional Beast we’re used to.
Two days ago, Singer tweeted a teaser of Nicholas Hoult as Beast, which clearly shows the version that works much better on screen. Plus it does make it easier for Hoult to emote. Coupled with the photo is a quote from Jeanne Marie Le Prince de Beaumont’s Beauty and the Beast. It fits McCoy perfectly.
X-Men: Days of Future Past releases in theaters July 18, 2014.
