Actor Matthew Davis, who I and many others see as the incarnation of Harrison Ford — although he’s alive — stars in a new show on the CW entitled Cult. What is it about, you ask? Why, here’s the official synopsis!
“Investigative journalist Jeff Sefton has learned to laugh off his brother Nate’s relentless string of obsessions, especially his latest rant that a hit TV show intends to harm him. However, when his brother mysteriously disappears, Jeff takes Nate’s paranoia seriously, and in the process uncovers the dark underworld of the TV show Cult and its rabid fans.”
It sounds like an engaging premise. I also can’t help but feel that part of the influence is from how crazy some fans are for a couple CW shows. Or crazy fans in general.
Cult premieres on the CW next week on the 19th. If you can’t wait, you can watch it right now on Hulu. I’m personally going to wait, but I feel very conflicted. Oh, the agony!
