Director Jose Padilha’s remake of Robocop is moving along, starring Joel Kinnaman, Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton, Abbie Cornish, Samuel L. Jackson and Jackie Earle Haley. Those names should be enough to throw your hesitations out the window like an OCP employee and get your interest.

Like with any film set that’s out in the open, there’s photos taken by bystanders. The series of pictures that can be viewed HERE show Robocop sitting on his motorcycle. I was initially not a fan of our favorite Detroit officer on a bike instead of a car, but the idea is gradually growing on me. He’s a machine, he doesn’t need a car, and putting him on a motorcycle would save OmniCorp money — and that is what’s truly important.

Robocop is slated for a February 7, 2014 release.

I’m pretty stoked to see this new interpretation that will be equally satirical as the original.
