The trailer for Silent Hill: Revelation is online, and it definitely keeps up with the strong, haunting atmosphere that made the first movie so enjoyable.

And hey, Sean Bean makes a return, which breaks the usual typecasting for him.

My only concern for the sequel is the 3D aspect of it. The trailer gives the impression that 3D is being used to make objects pop out towards the audience, which would only make it look like a parody. Hopefully the 3D is actually being utilized to enhance the atmosphere. It’d make it immersive and freaky.
