Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel finally has a presence online and in theaters with two versions of the same trailer. The difference? One has the voiceover by Kevin Costner, who portrays Clark Kent’s adoptive father, Jonathan Kent. The other? It has Russell Crowe as Jor-El, Clark’s biological father.

It’s still surprising that Snyder didn’t go with his usual style, but that’s a good thing. His usual aesthetics wouldn’t feel right for a Superman movie.
The trailer feels inspiring and evokes awe — which we all know are aspects that Superman should always evoke.
Man of Steel hits theaters June 14, 2013.
We have a while to go, but so far it looks like it’s worth it.
