Shane Black’s Iron Man 3 just keeps hitting the news with cast updates. This time actor Ashley Hamilton is in talks to portray Jack Taggert, also known as Firepower.

Taggert worked on a project with the U.S. Armed Forces to create an armor to rival Tony Stark’s. And of course Taggert falls wayside of wanting to kill Iron Man.

There’s a growing list of antagonists with each cast update on the movie; the odds are looking heavily stacked against Tony Stark. Every weapons developer and sociopath are gunning for Iron Man.

I’m a little worried the film is over saturated with villains, but they won’t all necessarily be in the forefront. Some might have minor parts that build off one another.
