Warner Bros. released a trailer showcasing their reboot of the cartoon ThunderCats at WonderCon.

The original voice of Lion-O, Larry Kenney, now voices Claudius, the father of Lion-O.

In the reboot Snarf will speak like Chewbacca instead of speaking like a person; although “snarf” will be uttered.

ThunderCats airs on Cartoon Network with a planned 26 episodes later this year. Kenney and others hope to see the new series top the original’s 135 episodes.

Seeing the symbol in the trailer made me feel nostalgic. I guess this means my ThunderCats belt buckle isn’t retro anymore.
